Dry lining contractors in Ipswich and Suffolk
We take on dry lining packages for fit-outs, developments and refurbishments: partitions, linings, ceilings and finishing. We work to the specified systems and coordinate with your other trades so walls close up when you need them to.

When it’s the right choice
- Office and retail fit-outs
- Residential developments
- Partition reconfiguration in existing buildings
- Ceilings and bulkheads
Package scope
- Metal stud partitions
- Built to the specified system, including head details and deflection where required.
- Wall linings
- Dot and dab or framed linings to masonry.
- Ceilings
- Suspended and framed plasterboard ceilings and bulkheads.
- Fire, acoustic and moisture boards
- Installed as part of the specified system. Ratings depend on the complete system and installation, not the board alone.

Things to know
- Specified systems
- Fire and acoustic performance depend on following the specified system. We’ll raise anything that isn’t clear on the drawings.
- Programme
- Close-up dates are agreed with the M&E trades.
- What affects the price
- Area and quantities, specification, access and working hours, programme and phasing, and how much of the work needs to be done around other trades.
- Agree the fixing and finishing requirements
- Tell us where cabinets, radiators, grab rails or heavy fittings will go before walls close up. Board support and reinforcement can then be planned. Fire and acoustic performance comes from the complete specified partition, including joints and penetrations, not a board label alone.

Ask us about your projectWorking hours are agreed per project. Tell us what you need and we’ll confirm.
Ask us about your projectYes, we price individual elements as well as full packages.
Ask us about your projectTaping and jointing finishes the board joints and screw heads; skimming coats the whole board surface. Both can provide a decorating base when properly specified and finished. Board edge type, the lighting, required finish and drying programme influence the choice.
Ask us about your projectNo. Moisture-resistant board is not a universal waterproof lining. Showers, tiled wet areas and persistently humid spaces need the appropriate board, waterproofing and finishing system specified for their use.
